The delegation trip by the National Judges College of the People’s Republic of China from June 27th to July 4th 2016 under the leadership of vice-president Mrs. Feng leading to Berlin and Geneva focused on Internet privacy. The participants exchanged views about current legal developments inter alia with the Berlin data protection officer, consumer protection agencies, scholars of the Free University of Berlin as well as with representatives of the Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection and the Higher Regional Court of Berlin.
In Geneva the delegation visited the German Federal Bar Association and the United Nations High Commissioner’s Office for Human Rights. The main topics were the use of electronic media in justice, criminality and Internet privacy as well as the implementation of international standards of protection in Germany and in Switzerland.
