In the time from 8 Mai to 26 June 2019, a training course on German judicial methodology in Chinese Contract Law took place at the China University for Political Science and Law (CUPL) in Beijing. The course was organized by the Sino-German Legal Cooperation Programme of GIZ in cooperation with the Civil, Commercial and Economic Law School of CUPL and composed of 8 lectures, which were given by four of the Programme’s legal advisors, namely Dr. Marco Haase (Deputy Programme Director), Norbert Feige, Dr. Enno Ruppert and Sebastian Mueller. Around 40 assistant professors and lecturers, doctoral candidates and master students participated and were introduced to the German methodology of the application of law with the help of selected cases on Chinese Contract Law.
