From the 26th until the 30th of June 2023, the Sino-German Legal Cooperation Programme conducted a training course on judicial methodology in civil law for the Civil and Commercial Law School der Southwest University of Political Science and Law (SWUPL) in Chongqing. More than 40 law teachers, students and lawyers from all over the country participated and were introduced to the German methodology on the application of law. Under the guidance of Dr. Marco Haase, director of the Sino-German Legal Cooperation Program, and Mr. Norbert Feige, legal advisor for the Sino-German Legal Cooperation Programme, the participants practiced the application of the techniques on practical cases under Chinese civil law.
For the first time, the Sino-German Legal Cooperation Program and the Civil and Commercial Law School of Southwest University of Political Science and Law (SWUPL) have collaborated to set up a course on German methodology on the application of law mainly aimed at teachers so that they can pass it on to their students.
