The objective of the field of activity entitled Advisory Services for the Executing Level is to increase legal certainty through the uniform and transparent application of legal norms by administrative authorities. To this end, the Sino-German Legal Cooperation Programme supports the training of Chinese civil servants, especially in the area of commercial law.
In the area of general administrative law, the programme’s activities are coordinated with the Chinese Ministry of Justice. In the field of antitrust law, the programme works with the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and the State Administration for Market Regulation.
Special advisory services are provided through workshops, symposia, training courses and study tours. Thanks to the involvement of experienced researchers, academics and practitioners, new ideas and visions are generated, and the status quo is reviewed. Beyond the political and academic spheres, this field of activity also draws in representatives of the private sector in its advisory services, for instance from businesses or law firms specialised in commercial law.
