From 2011-2014 studies in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) at the University of York (B.A.); complementary work as editor-in-chief of VOX academic journal for PPE. From 2014-2016 Double Masters Degree in International Affairs and Political Economy at the London School of Economics (M.Sc.) and Peking University (LL.M.).
From 2016-2018 seconded by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH to the office of former Federal President Horst Köhler; work as personal assistant and speech-writer for the President in the fields of sustainable development, Sino-German relations and EU-Africa partnership. From 2018-2020 advisor with the ‘Emerging Markets Sustainability Dialogues’ (EMSD) global programme of GIZ; responsible for international partnerships and dialogue formats on sustainable infrastructure development. Since September 2020, advisor with the Sino-German Legal Cooperation Programme of GIZ, Beijing.
